I’d make it audible
Allowing even the deaf to hear

If I could sculpt myself a tear
POETRY RANDOM THOUGHTS AND STUFF LIKE THAT…

Nauseous from all the sour men I’ve eaten
Understanding my belly more because of them it’s deepened
Watching others cope by cutting while I watch the blood seeping
Tired from this nod spend all my time sleeping
I’ve been confused, panicked and afflicted
Poor me another so I become estranged and addicted

Shift shapers and hate makers whisper in my ear
I stopped taking my meds and things don’t seem real clear
My Dr. told me I had a nervous bleeding in my brain
The judge told me I was criminally insane
I knew some of my crazy was from the cocaine
See I’ve had my lover tied up in the basement for, only God knows when
I looked at him and said…
YOU WILL STAY WITH ME AND YOU’LL STAY UNTIL THE VERY END

Love is bad breath in the morning and undone toenails
Granny underwear sometimes and holey boxer you’ve begged your husband to throw away a trillion times
Love is hiding those embarrassing sweat pants he would wear every day
Had I not tucked them at the bottom of the trash
Love is no make-up
Love is a cup with one partial (false tooth) in a glass on the nightstand and fixodent on the kitchen counter
Love is weight gain and loss
Love is … Have you seen my glasses
Love is grief and excitement
Love is … Did you take your blood pressure pills
Love is… YES I have worn this bra 7 days straight leave me alone
Love is we are at the hospital at 3am and I have to be to work at 6
Love is sex while in the 3rd day of PMS… Love is a bloody mess!
Love is… I’m an hour away come get me my car broke down
Love is counseling and church
Love is grandkids
Love is menopause
Attitudes
Fights
Make ups
Break ups
Love is an agreement
A commitment
A contract
A constant compromise
Love is sweet
Love is also ugly
Love is we haven’t had sex in a good bit but we’re going to figure it out
Love is… I’m staying even though I don’t like you right now
By the way it used to be a crime to abandon your wife. Off to jail you go lol
Did I say love is a bloody mess!
Love is not a game
Love is not for the faint of heart
Love covers a multitude of sins (1Peter 4:8)
Love is not always pretty
Love is Love

What is your Love is …???

The wind whispers implications and nudged me towards a hope
A hope of something whimsical but forgotten
When I left the tide ripped a hole in my memory
And altered something that was once magical
My recollection
And pushed me past lost
Something rare dangling in a breeze
Like the kite I flew with granny as a kid
I veered the unforgivable trying to balance its weight
Like words it was heavy and difficult
I tried to keep it (you) in my grasp
Till the whispers became vengeful
And forced me
To just
Let
Go

Weights heavy like burdens
In search to erase a thing
A thing!
A terrible thing
No amount of love can resuscitate me
To a normal thing
This empty land mind has swallowed my ethos
They look at me as somewhat of a weirdo
With blood on my shirt and dirt in my nails
I have the stench of lonely only the dead can smell
No person place or thing
Can resurrect me
Normal
I want to will myself a reset
To erase all the regret
My silence cry rivers and my soul is damned
To something morbid and sadistic
And no song I sing can erase the thing
That screamed at me in a dream to wake
Corners turn curves
To shake awake every unhinged nerve
Scream then disappear
I’ve been hiding from the boogie man
Haunted by memories
I will forever be trapped
In this dream
And no amount of love can resuscitate me
