Memory ~ Poetry

Time
Moves
Catches
Love
And
Holds it right there for you
In a memory

  1. Time it waits for no one
    It’s liking a passing train
    But waiting at the station
We know time will pass again
    But love comes by infrequently
    It’s like a stolen bus
    No passengers or prisoners
Yet love will wait for us

….. an exceedingly silly reply. Here’s a tip. Never try to place the image of a runaway bus in a romantic poem.

  2. Hi there Mr. Richmond! Ahhh yes, it’s difficult to capture in a poem. Time is definitely fleeting and we’re left with memories whether we want them or not. I always enjoy your responses. Hope all is well on your side of the world 💛
