EVEN ROBOTS CRY (POETRY)

Even robots cry

To dance through a metals wave

To bend iron cast down

Built ships through this junk filled maze

Awaiting rust

Standing still from yester years decay

Rainbows have rain

Rain has dirt

But robots have people

Who feel nothing

Even when they hurt

Even robots cry

  1. Very powerful, and distinctly appropriate for current times and topics like AI tech. Now I have to re-read PK Dick “Do androids dream of electric sheep?”

      1. No, you’re not Sis. You’re human, you’re just being strong–and it’s really a beautiful thing. But maybe, just once a while(for the soul’s relief), please, let those tears out, and if ever you let those tears out, please do well to shed them before God in prayers, He’ll catch them halfway through the fall, wipe your teary eyes, and pat you on the shoulder, saying “My daughter, I acknowledge those tears, cheer up, I got you.”✊🏿

Andrea "Drea" Diaz

"In this life or the next...I will find you" Monique [Last name redacted] was the average runaway child from an evil organization who constantly wiped away her past life. One day, her fate intertwined with that of Lee von Solari which led her to live out an extraordinary life on a world at the edge of the milky way galaxy. Soon she would have adventures while piecing back her fragmented memories only to discover that some of them were not her own. In a land vastly known for housing the "rejects" of other worlds, Monique uncovers the makings of Eridelium.
