Pixie – Poetry W/Audio

It was a demon!

A CURSE FROM THE BEGINNING

BECAUSE ADAM WAS AFRAID TO TAKE THE LEAD

AND GOT EVE TO DO HIS DIRTY DEED

Sent to terrorize this empty room

She hates me and berates me

At least that’s what I presume

***

I’ve even given this thing a name this thing is cwwwazzy and dramatic she’s
become impossible to restrain

***

She has her own personality

Her name is Pixie

And sadly she’s part of my reality

***

They’re like monsters that dance around in strange little groups

Dropping coal mines on my womb

Marching fiercely like military troops

***

In my mind strange things happen and I am forced to assume

As Pixie dances harder

Between my bloody womb

***

In five days she’ll be gone

And I’ll be left cleaning up her mess

Because I’m normally prompted to be mean and nasty

Under Pixie’s cramped up stress

***

When its all over I will give my belly some much needed rest

Trying desperately to hide next month

From Pixie’s curse called

PMS

  1. You’re poem brings to mind when Pixie used to visit me. Her visits were half-ass congenial, but then menopause took her place. Let me tell you, for me she was a bitch. 😬

    1. Ahhh jai, you’re a woman!!! Some of your poetry reads like a man! Interesting that I thought you were a man. You are a great writer! Ahhhh menopause is on my heels trying to catch me, I’m not looking forward to it 🤣

      1. I take it as a compliment that you thought me a man…not because I think men are better🙄, but because poetry speaks to both sexes in so many instances. I’m a woman who likes men (most, anyway ☺️), and though I can sometimes write harsh things about them, think most are good.

    1. 😊 You’ve done the same for me, I actually started writing ✍️ something last night after reading the Stonehenge poem. It’s just a draft currently, I’m excited for the outcome of this next piece that I’m pretty sure is going to be titled “Searching for You”

      You inspire me! ❤
