Grief

Grief | Inklings and Wonderings

Chimes

Like life

Ringing through ripples and worlds

Tears made brick

The thought that thinks

I have memories sleeping in the cracks of my walls

And faces urging me to acknowledge them

From beyond these grief filled halls

Swells enter corners of my pillow

So I listen…

For the universe

To tell me

I am not alone

    1. Lol, I was reading back through my comments and seen the comment which I edited. I know its too late but that was not what I meant. I need to read before I press enter. I never miss an opportunity to be re-blogged ❤

  1. LaToya, I love your word choices and the vivid imagery. This line stands out for me:
“I have memories sleeping in the cracks of my walls” Also the last 4 lines. It verbalizes something I think a lot of people do at a subconscious level.
