It was his prolonged rhyme

And clock like broken hand

Yet still made time against me

  1. Not enough time to figure out life… always one step behind?? You seem to be like me. Write something and end up being confused to yourself. Lol 😝

  2. Oh, I love it when the word muses drop something interesting like this into my lap! It sounds broken and chaotic, like a person that wants things to be different, but they can’t be–they are what they are. I think the word ‘but’ might be throwing it off? Maybe a ‘yet’? Have fun playing with it! There are some great lines of poetry WAITING to spring out of this!!

  3. My initial imagination was picturing someone whose words and feelings towards the speaker were both suspect and false. But verse-induced imagery can vary to great degrees in meanings to any reader. Have a wonderful day!
