GAY MARRIAGE?? KEEP IT REAL! WHAT DO YOU THINK?

IS IT A REVOLUTION?

OR IS IT EVOLUTION?

THINK TANKS BLAMING THE CONSTITUTION

Who does time wait for?

Released energy

Felt 100 times before

Left 100 times more

Tranquil spirits regenerate to clear it

Politicking nations for the world to fear it

And I wake the echo for time to drawl on time

Liberals in high pursuit already processing minds

For a peaceful surrender

To confuse gender bingers

Who pulled government strings?

To bring light to such evil things

Extraterrestrial molecules

Emote obstacles

That births paradoxicals

I can hear the gavels begin to beat conceit

Invariably bittersweet

Ruling.

Man.

Obsolete.

MY THOUGHTS? I’M SO GLAD YOU ASKED (:

IF YOU LIKE IT, I LOVE IT

I LOVE PEOPLE FOR WHO THEY ARE

NOT WHO THEY LOVE

  1. I Don’t care who someone sleeps with and I think the legal protections should apply to gay as well as straight when it comes to personal relationships, but Marriage is at least for many people a religious term and I don’t think the Govt should be involved in religious decisions.

Call it something else or come up with a term that does not have religious connotations. In the past the President has said he would force churches to perform marriages of gay couples. This last week he said, he would not force churches to perform marriages, which at least makes it sound like he thinks he could do it but elects not to. If the government can tell a religion who it must marry, can he say they must perform baptisms, or that the must perform services on Saturdays not Sundays or whatever. Some religions, few I grant you but some, teach against marriage at all. Equal legal protections but not “marriage”.

    1. Hmmm, well said my friend! This is a very thin line here, however, the constitution says liberty and justice for ALLLL! The law has been viewing gay marriage as a moral dilemma. I don’t really even think they wrapped their minds around the fact that this was a decision they would eventually have to make.
