ONE HEART (POEM)

Five fingers

One hand

Three hearts

One man

I dreamt the journey to make a wave

Of patterns colored with butterflies and gypsy eyes

Apple pie and dragon flies would light the skies

With rainbows and water shows

To let me know

That

I

Am

Only

On-ly

One

Heart

  1. I have been most shy to pop in and say hello to anyone of late. Still, for some reason I found myself thinking about you this morning; therefore I am writing this comment about commenting. I am most gratified to see that you are still writing Miss Latoya!

    1. OH MY, PLEASE DON’T BE SHY! I’M HARMLESS, FROM BEHIND THE COMPUTER ANYWAY (: I TRIED TO REACH YOU WHEN YOU REBLOGED “MY AVATAR” AND I WAS UNABLE TO REACH YOUR PAGE WHICH REALLY SURPRISED ME. YES, I TRY TO KEEP THIS BLOG ALIVE AND WRITE SOMETHING FROM TIME TO TIME. PLEASE, VISIT THIS CRAZY PLACE ANYTIME YOU’D LIKE.

      1. I shall, thank you! I was not gone at all. Although I did merge all three of my related blogs into one. I sometimes move things about on the site as well. For example when I add a sonnet to an existing sequence I sometimes repost the entire sequence again.

If you use davidemeron.com you will always find me. Although…. even THAT name is confusing : ) I fear I am forever doomed to have my name misread!!!!!!111 : )

Emeron is misread as EmerSon, but there is no ‘S’ in it.. What is funny about this is that my real last name (Emeron is only a pen name) is one of those names that is misread in the same way, as being similar to a more common name. And even more funny… My middle name, which I sometimes use, though not for blogging, is another name in that fashion. People look at it and see a whole extra syllable in it! It is something in the way the mind works. We see what we most expect to see.

I am so glad that I thought of you in that case!! I didn’t realise you had lost me. I’ve been here all along.

  2. But the one heart, it is a good heart. Lyrical, light to touch, brave in nature, a ginger safari to the senses, deep within the lines, and each alive in their dance of echoes

    1. HI FRIEND!!!! I’M SORRY I’VE BEEN M.I.A, I GOT A PROMTION ON MY JOB AND I HAVE BEEN RUNNING MYSELF CRAZY TRYING TO KEEP UP. I AM HOPING TO CATCH UP ON SOME OF MY FAVORITES THIS WEEKEND. HOPE ALL IS WELL (:

      1. Hello friend!!! I’ve been running lit a little low too. Congrats on the promotion!! Don’t run yourself crazy, just ease back in and no one will notice you were gone too long… All is well under a southern blue winter sky. Hope you are too (:
